This Website has been set up as a private venture in order to further the cause of Dental Public Health, an area of dentistry to which few sites are dedicated. It is intended to function as a resource for dentists, dental students, dental nurses, dental hygienists - for anyone with an interest in the area. I therefore wish to state that I obtained my primary degree of Bachelor of Dental
Surgery from the National University of Ireland in 1972, and a Master's Degree
in 2000. In 2002 a Higher Diploma in Healthcare Management was awarded jointly
by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the University of Birmingham.
